Richard Kelly joined the Economics Department at TD Bank Financial Group in 2006. Prior to joining TD, he spent over four years at the International Monetary Fund where he analyzed emerging market economies. Before that, he had several years experience working with other non-profit, government, and international financial organizations focused on economic development. Richard earned a B.A. in International Affairs and Middle Eastern Studies and an M.A. in International Development from The George Washington University in Washington D.C., as well as an M.A. in Economics from the University of Toronto. As an Economist, Richard's chief responsibilities include analyzing and forecasting international macroeconomic developments, particularly those involving the major industrialized countries and emerging markets. Richard also contributes regularly to a wide variety of TD publications and provides frequent economic commentary to the media.
