Panelists:
- Greg Huysman, Small Business Lending Manager, Opportunities Credit Union
- Steve Densham, Area Business Advisor, VtSBDC
- Sharon Gutwin, Owner, The RehabGYM
The panel is moderated by: Rocki-Lee DeWitt, Professor of Management, University of Vermont School of Business Administration.
REAL Entrepreneurship through Action Learning is a youth education program. It helps young people, schools and communities grow through hands-on entrepreneurship education. REAL Entrepreneurship teaches financial education through activities such as the business plan competition. The students learn financial management skills to help prepare them to predict and describe the start-up costs, on-going operational costs and revenues of the proposed business.
In Vermont, REAL Entrepreneurship is hosted and managed by VtSBDC. The program is taught nationwide in 43 states by over 1,200 REAL-trained educators to more than 10,000 students.
