Brian Razzaque is a seasoned entrepreneur and widely respected business mind in the mid-Atlantic technology community. In 1998, he founded Vision Multimedia Technologies (VMT). For over 14 years VMT had been recognized as one of the largest web application development firms in the Baltimore-area, and Mr. Razzaque successfully exited the company at the beginning of 2013. In 2009 Brian capitalized on an opportunity to leverage his experiences with VMT and invented the social media marketing solution SocialToaster: a fan advocacy and messaging amplification platform. He developed SocialToaster as a user-friendly, cost-effective solution to help companies market themselves through social media. SocialToaster was spun off as a separate company in 2012, and in 2012 he raised over $2M in Series A funding to support the growth of the new venture. Today SocialToaster is recognized as one of the leading social engagement platforms, with customers ranging from Fortune 500 companies to numerous professional sports teams, including our very own Baltimore Ravens. Brian is dedicated to helping businesses and organizations grow through the effective use of technology. He is happily married and enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, Sophie and Emma.
