Before the doors for the Vermont Business and Industry EXPO 2013 open, come to the Opening Ceremonies.  The media will be ready with cameras and mics, awaiting the highly anticipated unveiling of the Deane C Davis Outstanding Business of the Year Award.

Vermont Governor Peter Shumlin will present this award to one Vermont company that has an outstanding history of sustained growth while displaying an acute awareness of what makes Vermont unique.  After revealing the recipient of this award, a brief ribbon cutting ceremony will officially open the doors to the 29th annual Vermont Chamber Business and Industry EXPO.
